The existing economical transportation card service will end and you will need to switch to K Pass, a new public transportation discount service. How to issue a K-Pass transportation card
K Pass is a refundable transportation card that returns a certain percentage of the amount spent the following month up to 60 times if you regularly use public transportation (city buses, town buses, subways, metropolitan buses, GTX) more than 15 times a month. This is a must-receive benefit for those who use public transportation. Let’s find out right away.

Application conditions: User of public transportation more than 15 times per month
Available number of times: 15 to 60 times per month
Public transportation: National city buses, village buses, subway, metropolitan buses, GTX (including Shinbundang Line)
If you are an existing budget transportation card user, you can use the K-Pass transportation card without additional card issuance or registration procedures.
You can receive benefits by simply completing a simple membership conversion process on the Economical Transportation Card app or website.

Converting from an economical transportation card to a K Pass is very simple, so please apply for conversion below by April 30th.
New K-Pass cards can be issued starting from April 24, 2024.
New subscribers must select one of the 10 K-Pass card companies to receive a card. The card companies are Kookmin, Woori, Nonghyup, Hana, Samsung, Hyundai, Shinhan, BC, Joy of Moving, and DGB U-Pay.
Each card company has additional benefits, so compare them carefully and conveniently receive them through simple online issuance.
If you have applied for a card, you must go through the K-Pass new membership registration process.
New registration is available from May 1, and please refer to the application method above. The benefits apply from the day you sign up as a new member, so please apply as soon as possible.
The regular new sign-up date is May 1. If you have a hard time waiting for the normal new sign-up date, there is a way to sign up before that.
You can sign up for an economical transportation card right away and immediately switch to K-Pass.
