However, Hyundai’s M-Point affiliate, “Daily Usage” (on/offline), has a limitation that points can only be used within a certain percentage limit set by each affiliate for the payment amount.

■ First, what you need to know
Unlike other credit card companies’ point systems, M points are worth about 0.66 won, not 1 won in cash (1.5 points are 1 won in cash), but in only two cases, 1 point is recognized as 1 won.
① This is the case when purchasing a new Hyundai or Kia car, and ② when using points at a set rate of ‘affiliated’ of the payment amount in the ‘daily use’ of various industries
In particular, for those who plan to purchase Hyundai and Kia in the future, it is a good idea not to spend points as much as possible, but to collect them steadily and use them all at once when purchasing a car as it is recognized as 1 point = 1 won, and for reference, the ‘M’ in Hyundai M card or M point means Motor.
In particular, those who want to buy a vehicle within the next two years can sign up for Hyundai Card’s program called “New Car Purchase Bankbook”, which will be covered separately in the text, and if those who are really planning to buy within two years sign up, additional points will be accumulated and will be unconditionally advantageous

General Organization of Modern M-Point Usage Part 1
Targets are all Hyundai card members with Hyundai M points accumulated, but there are cases where corporate, hybrid, prepaid, GIFT, and debit cards, other than regular credit cards, have restrictions on the use of points “depending on partnerships.”

There is a fixed exchangeable period for each partner, and of course, there may be differences for each partner, but there are quite a few cases where the period is extended, so please note that.
(1) Swap for a Hyundai Gift Card
– Exchange gift cards for 100,000 won per 150,000 points
– Can be exchanged in 150,000 points as follows

@ How to Exchange
You can say that you want to exchange gift certificates with M points by visiting the gift certificate desk in the department store or large supermarket, and the member must bring his or her own ID. (Exchange of agent is not allowed)
1. First, exchange for Shinsegae gift certificates
– Exchange gift certificates for 50,000 won per 75,000 points
– Exchange unit: 50,000 won, 100,000 won, 300,000 won bills, 500,000 won bills
– Method: Visit Shinsegae Department Store or E-Mart Store
However, unlike general Shinsegae gift certificates, it cannot be used in Shinsegae-affiliated online malls (emart malls, Shinsegae malls, etc.) and E-Mart Everyday, so please refer to it
2. Exchange to Hyundai Department Store Gift Certificate
– Exchange gift certificates for 10,000 won per 15,000 points
– Unlike other gift certificates, it can be exchanged for a 10,000 won voucher
– Exchange unit: 10,000 won, 50,000 won, 100,000, 300,000 and 500,000 won bills
– Method: Visit the gift certificate desk in Hyundai Department Store
– Not available in Hyundai Department Store-affiliated online malls (Hyundai H Mall, etc.)
3. Exchange for Homeplus gift certificates
– Exchange gift certificates for 50,000 won per 75,000 points
– Exchange unit: KRW 50,000, KRW 100,000, KRW 300,000 and KRW 500,000
– Method: Visit and exchange customer satisfaction centers in Homeplus
– However, it cannot be used at Homeplus Express stores
(3) How to switch to air miles
– Annual basis: January 1st to December 31st every year
The feature of air mileage exchange is that there is a fixed annual conversion limit, and among Hyundai Card members, Black and Purple Card members are given more annual conversion limits than regular members
1. Transition to 1 mile of Korean Air per 35 points
– Note: 35 points are worth approximately 23 won in cash
– Starting at 35,000 points (= 1,000 miles)
Regular members can switch to 700,000 points per year (= 20,000 miles), while The Black and The Purple have more leeway to 1.75 million points per year (=50,000 miles)
However, among Purple members, the conversion ratio is 1 mile per 28 points, and the limit is up to 1.68 million points per year (60,000 miles).
