How to leave the next cafe
I used to use Daum Cafe a lot in the past. However, since I use SNS rather than cafes these days, I decided to leave the next cafe to organize the cafes that remain as ghost members. Let’s see how to leave the following cafe together.
You must log in first.
I switched to my Kakao account, so I logged in with my Kakao account.
After logging in, click the ‘Cafe’ menu in the upper left menu list.
On the main cafe screen that appears after clicking on the cafe menu, click My Cafe at the top.
If you select My Cafe menu, the cafes you are subscribed to are listed. And my membership status is also displayed. I am mostly dormant.
If you select Leave next to the cafe you want to withdraw from, a pop-up window will appear where you can check once again as shown below.

Clicking OK here also completes the withdrawal from the cafe.
However, it is said that even if you leave the cafe, the articles I wrote in the cafe remain. Please keep this in mind.

Recently, while I was organizing my account list, I connected to daum, and I saw cafes that I had signed up for in the past. It’s been a long time since I’ve been active, and there are a lot of places that don’t seem to work anymore, so I decided to leave some places.
I was also unfamiliar with the UI, so I went to various places to find out how to proceed with the next cafe withdrawal process. I found that it is possible through different paths on PC and mobile. I’ll let you know about both versions, so take a look.
<1> How to leave Daum Cafe using PC
First of all, I thought that it might be a little cumbersome as a dedicated application must be installed to proceed with mobile. If you have a laptop or PC nearby, you can do it quickly.
If you log in and look right below your account information, you will see a list of cafes you have joined. You won’t be active anymore, so please click on the place you want to metamorphose to.
This is the place I came across when I was preparing for a Korean history certificate in the past. There was no more information to look for, so I made the decision to leave the next cafe. There is a bulletin board on the left or right side of the home screen. It’s on the left, right? Let’s go down this section all the way down.
If you look just below the last bulletin board, you will see a small item called <Cafe Tiltux>. This menu must be hidden in the corner (?) of the screen.
When you click on it, a message window like this will pop up. It says that ‘posts you’ve made in the past are not automatically deleted’. If it doesn’t matter, click the [OK] button.
I’m a bit annoyed because I asked twice more. However, you can simply click quickly to finish.
<2> How to withdraw from Daum Cafe in mobile version
If you want to leave the Daum Cafe with your smartphone, you can switch to <View PC version> and follow the same procedure as in step 1. If you have a dedicated app installed, I’ve found that it’s even easier. I also took a video, so please play it back and refer to it.
If you log in after launching the app, you will see this unique home screen. From the 5 menus located at the bottom, click the 2nd <person icon> from the left. It looks like the default KakaoTalk profile picture.
Likewise, since you will no longer be active, you can enter by clicking on the place you want to leave.
