Service Introduction
If a user wants to receive services from more than one public library, he or she can use the public library participating in the book after signing up as a member of the public library book without a separate membership sign-up process. Book Yieum members are provided to users when they sign up as a Book Yim member, and are a combination of barcode and RFID use certificate, so they can receive the services they want regardless of the type of library they want to receive services in. Anyone who is a Bookum member can borrow and return books at participating public libraries, and through the Bookum service website, users can check the status of the library they have signed up for, as well as …

If parents sign up instead, go to a public library with a copy of the i-PIN and resident registration number issued above and register as a member, and a booklet card in the child’s name will be issued immediately.

After signing up for the book joint service, my two-year-old son also received a bookstart package right from the library.
If you are staying abroad for a long time outside of Australia,
Because I usually buy a mobile phone sim and use it.
You will not be able to use your Korean number.

However, since you have to authenticate every time you do something like banking or logging in,,,,
Most of the time, mobile phone authentication will be used.
I don’t have a Korean number.
can’t authenticate
(Of course, it depends on the rate plan that only applies for receiving text messages, budget phone plan, etc.)

So you can continue to certify abroad
You must issue an accredited certificate and i-PIN

accredited certificate

There are various types of certificates, such as carrier certificate (PASS), Kakao or Naver certificate, bank certificate, etc.
The only thing that can be stored on a PC or USB is a bank certificate.

So I went to Shinhan Bank, the main bank,
Issuing a joint certificate
I saved everything to my laptop (PC), USB, and mobile phone to take with me.
(Shinhan Certificate❌️❌️❌️)

It’s best to do it on PC if possible.
Save directly to PC>USB storage>Export to mobile phone
I can do it 😉

It doesn’t matter where the bank is, if possible, the bank!!!!
And be sure to save all three!!!

I-pin

Actually, living in Korea, I’ve never used an i-Pin… lol (I’m not the only one, right?)
Even when I prepared it 3 years ago, I found a lot of information, but they told me to issue an i-PIN.

Ipins were also different.
I went to Nice I-Pin (My-PIN) and did it.

Actually I made it 3 years ago
I thought that I had to renew it like a public certificate or make a new one knowing that.
When I entered the issuance history, it was already there…!!!

Thanks to you, I brought it as is without any procedures!
Nice i-Pin has an app, so it would be convenient if you install it 🙂

I don’t know when to use it
A style that prepares everything,,,, 😅😅

I wish I didn’t have to go through such trivial troubles~~~!!!

My son asks me to give him a card so he can borrow books from the local library, just like his sister. Signing up for something with a child’s ID always seems to be complicated. You must also have a #public IPIN to sign up.

So, when I went in to get a public I-Pin after a long time, a message popped up saying that the public I-PIN My-PIN service will be suspended from October 31, 2021. So what? When I was thinking about it, it was explained at the bottom that if you want a new issuance, you need to get a private i-Pin.^-^

If it’s a private I-PIN, aren’t you telling me to pay the fee again? while proceeding with the issuance.

Originally, the Public I-Pin Center had provided the public I-PIN/My-PIN service, which is an alternative to resident registration number, to the public in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act. It is said that the public i-Pin/My-Pin service will end on the 31st.

However, only the public i-Pin/My-Pin service is terminated, not all i-PIN services are terminated. Those who continue to use i-Pin can continue to use #private i-Pin instead of public i-Pin.
Private I-PIN issuance method
Private i-Pin website
① Select one of the 3 private i-PIN companies and access the website
② I-PIN issuance after entering basic information and verifying identity (general-purpose joint certificate, mobile phone in your name)

Still, I tried to access some familiar nice evaluation information.

Click [Issue I-PIN] on the screen above.

Then the IPIN user information appears. Enter your child’s social security number here. The i-PIN ID and password are now the child’s ID and password.

The next step is to consent to the legal representative, enter the parent’s name and social security number, and verify the parent’s identity. Just enter the number that comes from your mobile phone message.

You will then be prompted to select an additional authentication method. I chose the ‘Secondary password setup’ method. There’s also a voice authentication that’s unusual.. What if the child is in the Transformation Period? hehe

Anyway, an i-PIN ID was created through a very simple procedure. The payment did not happen as expected.

I went to the library site with this information and finally completed the registration.

Now each child can borrow 5 books each.
Private I-PIN issuance can also be carried out by visiting the community center.
Visit the community center
① Visit the nearest eup/myeon office or community center (administrative welfare center)
② Fill out the issuance application form and submit your ID*
* ID: resident registration card, driver’s license, passport, youth ID card, disability registration card (welfare card)
③ After receiving a temporary password, access the private i-PIN website, reset the password, and then issue an i-PIN
※ Foreigners without a resident registration number or overseas citizens cannot be issued at the resident center.

In the end, you have to go to the website and go through the process again, so I think it would be better to just sign up online from the beginning.

Check subscription information
You can also check the previous issuance history and subscription information on the site. You can also check that there is nothing being stolen, right?
When I go into the i-PIN authentication history, the authentication date that I signed up for in the library is displayed. I’m excited~
Looking at the issuance history, I saw that I had signed up once two years ago. And it was issued again this time as it was discarded because it was no longer used after a year. All those records are there.

I looked up the articles and found articles about people who did bad things about the I-PIN. In addition to issuing the I-PIN, I need to manage the I-PIN well so that it is not stolen.
